Software Developer
My career in I.T. started when at the age of 15, I wrote my first commercial program to defend military-grade networks, so successful was it, that the original code is still in use today. Since then, I have been involved in permanent and contract work, always on the cutting edge of software development and consultancy services, including personal service for five Fortune 500 companies. I started a software partnership in early 2003, which was incorporated as Evolved Software Studios Ltd. We have developed software which saves lives (tracking patient blood products), protects soldiers (MoD mortar control prototype), entertains (Quiz TV programme gameshow interfaces), supports finance (The Bank of America, Stockbroker trading platforms), and most recently - Construction (new CIS with Insite123).
I hold an honours batchelors degree from Surrey University, Microsoft Certification and numerous trade memberships. My software company (Evolved Software Studios) is a Microsoft Partner and Intel Software Partner, and has wide connections within the industry and is recognised for developing clean and creative solutions.
I am incredibly passionate about software. I believe that to create great software for great customers you need to have passion, creativity and energy. You need to care so deeply about your software it hurts when it isn’t quite right. You need to care for your customers, and use your own software yourself. You need to have all of the qualities of the best software writers, testers, producers and business skills. You need the experience of many industries and deep knowledge of each.
